New Collection - Fine Art Wedding Stationery Suites
Those of you that have been following me for a while will know that I've been banging on about my new collection being ‘‘nearly ready’’ for what seems like forever. And then when I finally have everything ready to share with you, a global pandemic happens - typical right?
I've been in two minds about whether to launch this now or wait for a more appropriate time but I decided to just go for it in the end, as a little bit of pretty paper may just be what you need to see right now.
I'm lucky enough to have lots of talented friends in the wedding industry, so I roped in the brilliant Natalie Stevenson Photography to style and shoot the flat lays for me. Natalie specialises in fine art photography and has such an incredible eye for detail, so I knew I could trust her completely.
As a huge fan of all things delicate and elegant, I also couldn't resist featuring some accessories by Rachel Sokhal Bridal, another talented friend of mine.
If you're familiar with my work, you'll know that I take a lot of inspiration from nature. So it goes without saying that all of the new designs have a botanical theme. As with my previous collection, these stationery suites are all named after couples from classic literature (another love of mine and a constant source of inspiration).
BEATRICE
(named after Beatrice & Benedick from 'Much Ado About Nothing' by William Shakespeare)
This invitation suite was originally designed for a styled shoot. I loved it so much that I had to develop it further and add it to the collection. With an abundance of watercolour florals, this design is perfect for anyone having an elegant spring wedding. The design features two of my favourite flowers (anemones and ranunculi), lots of greenery and a subtle hint of peach.
OLIVIA
(named after Olivia & Sebastian from 'Twelfth Night' by William Shakespeare)
As a lover of rich, autumn colours, I've been wanting to design a seasonal suite for a while now. With delicate, hand painted botanicals this stationery suite is perfect for anyone having an autumn wedding.
ESTELLA
(named after Estella & Pip from 'Great Expectations' by Charles Dickens)
This stationery suite embraces all things minimal and features hints of ethereal botanicals. The designs were created with a frosty winter in mind but could of course be used for weddings all year round.
ELIZABETH
(named after Elizabeth Bennet and Mr Darcy from 'Pride & Prejudice' by Jane Austen)
This was another suite that I had initially created for a styled shoot but loved too much to let go. And as there's already a lot of watercolour in the collection, I thought it would be nice to introduce some botanical line drawings for an understated look. The suite features hand drawn lunaria (honesty) branches, so would work perfectly for an autumn/winter wedding.
HERMIA
(named after Hermia & Lysander from 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' by William Shakespeare)
Last but by no means least is Hermia. Characterised by a delicate watercolour wreath, this design features lots of soft ruscus and butterfly ranunculus and is paired with my signature calligraphy script.
Each range includes coordinating save the dates, invitations, details cards and RSVP slips with a choice of envelopes. Matching day stationery (menus, order of service, seating plans etc..) is available too if you'd like to keep everything consistent (as I know most of you do!)
