Whenever Natalie Stevenson Photography gets in touch with me about a shoot, I know it’s going to be a good one and will leap at the chance to get involved.
This time, my stationery got to travel to the dreamy Château Bouffémont, just outside of Paris, one of the most romantic cities in the world.
Once the concept was in place, Natalie reached out to luxury wedding planner Roberta Burcheri Events who helped plan everything to perfection and bring the vision to life.
With an abundance of florals, flawless hair & makeup and dresses to die for, this shoot evokes all things chic, giving you tonnes of inspiration for an ethereal, fine art wedding.
Super talented florist Flourish and Grace (Zoë & team), created breathtaking florals for this shoot that truly stole the show. From the grand floral arch, staircase installation and cake table decoration, to the beautiful bouquet, buttonhole and table centrepieces, Zoë went above and beyond to create the most inspiring floral designs showcasing pastel peach and blush tones with pops of coral for a fresh, modern twist.
I really wanted to give the stationery suite a fine art feel but with a slightly ‘French’ twist. I decided to opt for a classic invitation design with a modern, romantic feel. The château is so beautiful, so I just had to incorporate a venue illustration into the save the date design. The deckle edge paper, wax seals and calligraphy add a touch of a luxury to the suite.
The tablescape was adorned with an abundance of florals, elegant tableware and understated stationery. I knew that there would be lots of intricate detail on the table with the tableware and bow napkins, so decided to create a minimal design for the menus and place cards, with a touch of fine art calligraphy.
The show-stopping cake was created by Erzulie Cakes and was truly the epitome of timeless elegance, with delicate sugar flower details and a muted blush and peach colour palette.
The bridal hair and makeup by Jen Hawkins was soft, romantic and effortlessly chic, complementing the dreamy dresses. The ceremony gown was ‘Genevieve’ by Millia London, a true masterpiece for a fairytale château wedding. The elegant evening gown was by Anna Kara from Morgan Davies Bridal and paired beautifully with a cape for a modern touch.
Bursting with opulent florals, intricate details and a colour palette to covet, hopefully this shoot has given you some inspiration for your own wedding (I know I’m feeling inspired for mine).
If elopement inspiration is more your thing, the following day the team set off at the crack of dawn for an intimate shoot in the centre of Paris. Those images deserve a separate post of their own though, so stay tuned!
