It may seem completely crazy to be talking about winter weddings during the height of summer but if you're getting married later in the year or early next year, now is the time to start thinking about your invitations.
With all of the uncertainty surrounding Covid-19, I imagine that wedding planning has come to a halt for most of you (understandably) but I'm trying to stay optimistic and am hoping that the winter wedding season might be able to go ahead (even if there are some restrictions in place).
If you look around, you'll see that there's an abundance of beautifully floral invitations for spring/summer weddings on the market but when it comes to winter weddings, the choices are often a little more limited. To make things easier for you, I thought I'd share a selection of wintry designs from my house collection.
NATASHA
This was the first winter design I created and is still once of my most popular designs to date. Inspired by 'War and Peace', this design is finished with delicate winter botanicals. With hints of mistletoe, holly and fir, the Natasha suite would be perfect for a festive December wedding.
ELIZABETH
This minimal suite is part of the new collection, released earlier this year. The design features hand drawn lunaria seeds and winter berries, the neutral tones sitting beautifully alongside the rich coloured envelopes. Paired with a vellum wrap and white pearl wax seal, this suite makes me think of a frosty winter morning.
CATHERINE
This suite is popular all year round, but makes a perfect winter wedding design for any couple not wanting anything too obviously seasonal. The design comes in grey, navy or blush, with grey and navy being the most popular winter choices.
ESTELLA
This ethereal watercolour design could be used for weddings all year round but the cool colours of the botanicals do lend themselves well to the winter months. I love the combination of the soft watercolour and the classic, minimal typography. Perfect for a modern, elegant winter wedding.
Hopefully you're now feeling a little more inspired about your winter wedding stationery. If you'd like to enquire about any of the designs featured, feel free to get in touch here.
